At least…

Finding peace among strangers.

Do you sometimes wonder why it is easier to talk to strangers?

At least you will be treated decently.

At least you will be smiled at and you will be treated with courtesy and curiosity.

At least you will be called properly and will be listened to.

At least you will be asked for your opinion with respect.

At least you will be apologized and thanked.

At least your heart will be guarded, will not be hurt because strangers don’t know you well enough to know how to hurt you. Not just yet.

At times like now, when I am hurt by my loved ones, I rather like to be treated like a stranger to keep myself together in peace.

Then, at least, I will be able to keep my sanity.
